It's here!  I received my March 2022 IPSY Glam Bag on friday.  It's a great bag and I'm already enjoying some of the products.  The lip liner and lipstick are a little on the bright side for my skin tone but the formulas are very nice. Today was choice day for the April 2022 IPSY Glam Bag. I picked the Lucky Chick Creamy Matte Lipstick in the color "Paradise". It's a full-size lipstick with a retail value of $35 on the Lucky Chick website so I thought it was the biggest bang for my buck! It's a rosy nude shade that's 100% vegan. Rosy colors usually go well with my complexion. The lipstick is  enriched with natural shea butter and soothing botanical oils that lock in moisture and keep your lips hydrated and soft. Another plus is that Lucky Chick is a cruelty-free brand. I'm looking forward to getting it in my April bag with some other goodies!

April 2022 choice is right around the corner on 3/21! I always look forward to this day every month when I can choose 1 item for my next bag!  The IPSY Glam Bag design for April is perfect for Spring with a flowery daisy design.  Yellow has always been one of my favorite colors. I'm excited for this bag! I'll start off by saying, I'm not loving the bag designs this month but maybe once I get it, I will find it better than it looks. The sewn on inspiring message just looks kind of tacky to me. I picked the Beauty Vaulte Bubbly Beverly Lip Set for my bag and I'm pretty excited about it. It's a raspberry-toned lip liner and matching matte liquid lipstick that should work well for my cool skin undertone. It's full size and retail value is $18.50 so at $13 for the bag, I think this bag is a pretty good value. I've heard good things about First Aid Beauty so I'm looking forward to trying out the eye cream. I'm still searching for the cream that's going to get rid of my dark circles and bags! I'm less excited for the hand cream although I can always use hand cream and the coconut colada scent should evoke summer thoughts.  The February 2022 Glam Bag made my heart flutter. The heart themed bag was super cute and I love the pink hearts on the red background. The little IPSY charm shaped like a heart is the final touch to make this bag my favorite so far!   I chose a full-size lipstick this month and it works pretty well with my skin tone. It's leans a little bit brown on my lips although it appears more mauve in the tube but I can definitely wear this shade. The eyeliner pencil is pretty cool with it's dual sides and it's not BLACK. The lighter shade is perfect for the lower waterline and really opens up my eyes. I like purple eyeshadow with my brown eyes, but this one is a little darker than it appears when applied. Some more moisturizing products, the sheet masks and night mask rounded out another great bag!

 My January 2022 Glam Bag got the year off to a great start! Well, there were a few bumps along the way too. January's bag was supposed to be a tie-die bag which seemed pretty themed for spring to me, but oh well, it was cute. Instead, I got this silver and green bag which left me feeling pretty left out. The silver bag wasn't bad and it felt a little bit more like a January themed bag with it's shiny appearance so I wasn't too disappointed with it.  I was glad to get more sheet masks since I found I enjoyed them last month.  I chose the Tarte concealer for my bag (you get to choose 1 item each month), since I am still searching for my perfect match. I had never tried Purlisse BB cream and I found that I really like it although this shade was too light to be my perfect match.  The peeling gel didn't make my favorites list because it's weird. It's applied to dry skin and forms little pills. I don't know, I prefer other exfoliators.  I put the Goldfadden a

 My December 2021 Glam Bag was perfect for the holidays.

 After a great start in October, I was excited for November's bag and I wasn't disappointed.  By this time, I was watching YouTube videos of Glam Bag unboxings to see what everyone was getting. Some bloggers and posts on social media were critical of the green velvety bag, comparing it to artificial grass, but I was digging it. It's soft and I like the color. Considering that Christmas was right around the corner, I thought the bag would be perfect for the upcoming holiday.  I was happy to get some more make-up items and I was eager to try sheet masks for the first time.  Note - they are cold and slimy when you first put them on, but after the initial shock, they feel pretty darn pampering and leave my skin feeling so hydrated. I found a new way to relax and take care of my skin. I'm not a BIG eyeshadow gal, so I gave this one away. Getting the concealer in a sample size works great for me, because I'm still searching for my perfect match. All in all, I felt really

 My first IPSY Glam Bag was in October 2021.  Here's my bag. The bag was really CUTE and was perfect for halloween.  The best product in this bag was the Murad night cream. I'd never used this brand before because it's pretty pricey, so I was happy to get to try this sample. I used it nightly and it lasted at least a couple weeks, long enough for me to see significant changes in my skin. I was impressed enough to buy a sample kit from Murad and I'm still using this cream and loving it!  I enjoyed all the new makeup items and it helped me to start slowly building my collection after throwing away most of my old stuff!  I was liking this for $13 a month.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I stopped wearing make-up. Between working from home and wearing a mask, I put my make-up aside for the most part. After nearly 2 years of not buying new things, I realized most of my products were too old to be used. As fall arrived and the holidays approached in October 2021, I started thinking about make-up again. I needed new things!
