The start of a new year!

 My January 2022 Glam Bag got the year off to a great start!

Well, there were a few bumps along the way too. January's bag was supposed to be a tie-die bag which seemed pretty themed for spring to me, but oh well, it was cute. Instead, I got this silver and green bag which left me feeling pretty left out. The silver bag wasn't bad and it felt a little bit more like a January themed bag with it's shiny appearance so I wasn't too disappointed with it. 

I was glad to get more sheet masks since I found I enjoyed them last month.  I chose the Tarte concealer for my bag (you get to choose 1 item each month), since I am still searching for my perfect match. I had never tried Purlisse BB cream and I found that I really like it although this shade was too light to be my perfect match.  The peeling gel didn't make my favorites list because it's weird. It's applied to dry skin and forms little pills. I don't know, I prefer other exfoliators.  I put the Goldfadden aside but plan to use it!  For $13, I got some good items to add to my collection.

It's here!  I received my March 2022 IPSY Glam Bag on friday.  It's a great bag and I'm already enjoying some of the products.  The lip liner and lipstick are a little on the bright side for my skin tone but the formulas are very nice. My April Glam Bag has been revealed to me!

April 2nd was the day for the big reveal. Here's my upcoming Glam Bag. I chose the Lucky Chick lipstick and IPSY picked the other items for my bag. I'm excited to try the Benton Deep Green Tea Toner and the Glow Recipe Dew Drops. I redeemed points last month to get the F.A.R.A.H eye shadow and it's also in my bag, so looks like I'll be getting 2 of those!  I can always use the Dionis body cream but I'm not overly excited about it. I wish I had scored the cute daisy brush instead but it wasn't meant to be. Overall, it's a good bag and I'll be happy when it comes in the mail later this month.  It's always a nice pick me up. I needed new things!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I stopped wearing make-up. Between working from home and wearing a mask, I put my make-up aside for the most part. After nearly 2 years of not buying new things, I realized most of my products were too old to be used. As fall arrived and the holidays approached in October 2021, I started thinking about make-up again. I needed new things!
