My IPSY addiction

  May 2nd was IPSY match day and here's what I'm getting in my May 2022 Glam Bag. I chose the Purlisse Perfect Glow BB Concealer in Light and IPSY selected the other items for my bag. I'm most excited for the actual bag this month with the purple floral design that just shouts "happy mother's day" to me! I'm a big fan of both flowers and purple so I can't wait to see this bag when it arrives later this month. April 25th was Choice day for the May IPSY Glam Bag.  Just in case your wondering, Choice day is the day of the month that Glam Bag members get to pick one of the items that will be in their next month's bag from about 10 products. IPSY fills the rest of the bag with items that they choose based on my profile and reviews of products that I received in my previous bags. I also get points for my reviews that I can redeem for additional items in my upcoming bags.  I picked the Purlisse Beauty travel-size Perfect Glow BB Concealer in Light for my May IPSY Glam Bag. I chose it because I really like to try foundation and concealer, looking for that perfect match. I like Purlisse products because they are multi-tasking giving both makeup and skin care benefits. I really like their BB cream and so I'm looking forward to getting this in my May bag to see if this concealer will be the one that I love! April 2nd was the day for the big reveal. Here's my upcoming Glam Bag. I chose the Lucky Chick lipstick and IPSY picked the other items for my bag. I'm excited to try the Benton Deep Green Tea Toner and the Glow Recipe Dew Drops. I redeemed points last month to get the F.A.R.A.H eye shadow and it's also in my bag, so looks like I'll be getting 2 of those!  I can always use the Dionis body cream but I'm not overly excited about it. I wish I had scored the cute daisy brush instead but it wasn't meant to be. Overall, it's a good bag and I'll be happy when it comes in the mail later this month.  It's always a nice pick me up. It's here!  I received my March 2022 IPSY Glam Bag on friday.  It's a great bag and I'm already enjoying some of the products.  The lip liner and lipstick are a little on the bright side for my skin tone but the formulas are very nice. Today was choice day for the April 2022 IPSY Glam Bag. I picked the Lucky Chick Creamy Matte Lipstick in the color "Paradise". It's a full-size lipstick with a retail value of $35 on the Lucky Chick website so I thought it was the biggest bang for my buck! It's a rosy nude shade that's 100% vegan. Rosy colors usually go well with my complexion. The lipstick is  enriched with natural shea butter and soothing botanical oils that lock in moisture and keep your lips hydrated and soft. Another plus is that Lucky Chick is a cruelty-free brand. I'm looking forward to getting it in my April bag with some other goodies!

April 2022 choice is right around the corner on 3/21! I always look forward to this day every month when I can choose 1 item for my next bag!  The IPSY Glam Bag design for April is perfect for Spring with a flowery daisy design.  Yellow has always been one of my favorite colors. I'm excited for this bag! I'll start off by saying, I'm not loving the bag designs this month but maybe once I get it, I will find it better than it looks. The sewn on inspiring message just looks kind of tacky to me. I picked the Beauty Vaulte Bubbly Beverly Lip Set for my bag and I'm pretty excited about it. It's a raspberry-toned lip liner and matching matte liquid lipstick that should work well for my cool skin undertone. It's full size and retail value is $18.50 so at $13 for the bag, I think this bag is a pretty good value. I've heard good things about First Aid Beauty so I'm looking forward to trying out the eye cream. I'm still searching for the cream that's going to get rid of my dark circles and bags! I'm less excited for the hand cream although I can always use hand cream and the coconut colada scent should evoke summer thoughts.
